Battery Light Showing On Dash - R33

Hey guys I've just rebuilt the engine on my r33 and have had the wiring loom etc off and the engine out of the car, i've put it all back together and the battery light on the dash is constantly staying on.

What could the possible causes of this be?

Possibly the alternator hasn't been reconnected properly. Or it's dead.
