^{got back from a fishing trip to karumba last week, no Barra from karumbu but i got a couple from the leichhart river on the way back. I also caught a heap of eel tailed catfish and a toadfish. Seen a few crocs too}

well, its nearly that barratastic time of year again. Plenty of jacks around too. Stay tuned for some piccies in the following few months

Yeah been chasing jacks but have come up with none, just bream and tailer and a few snapper.

Here's my biggest fish to date.

50.5 cm and 2kg. .5cm bigger than the species grow to lol.

Nice fish mate! Looks healthy. Just a note though, always try to cradle barra if you intend to release them, as holding them by the jaw usually rips thier gillset away from thier artery
