Shouldn't be a prob, if anything like the guy from SPC Performance said, the bolt might just be a few mm long but it's not a problem. Better a little long than short.

Yeah they come with instructions. Can use either a dremel or die grinder. Maybe a bastard file if you have plenty of strength and time ?

The square white piece of card is a template for marking out the wider slot; you just colour with a marker pen and use a die grinder with a rotary burr or dremel to widen the slot.
