first time oil change

i havnt had my 33 all that long but i think its time for its first oil change.

i use the car daily and it gets a bit of a hammering probably a few times a day.

i plan to change it every 5000km.

what oil would you recommend i use along with filters and anything else u can think of?

id rather not spend heaps and heaps on oil so if theres any good oils out there for a descent price id love to know!

I use Ryco filters (Part No. 145a) and will be changing to motul next service as the Caltex Full Synth makes my lifters noisy.

Also do a fuel filter change (just to make sure everythings clean) Z201 is what I used, but I have seen others that use a Z200, doesn't make much difference, one is a fraction longer then the other. Its easy to get to in the engine bay, you will squirt a bit of fuel if the system is pressurised.

Use a Ryco Part No. 145a Oil Filter and for oils..its really up to you with what is in your budget price wise & what you can afford also check the search button also alot of threads have been discussed a while ago about different brand etc happy searching & bit of interesting reading. Cheers Rob

I have been using mobil 1 0w40 synthetic for 2 years on my R33 and the engine has never ran anything other than perfectly

Me too,

I only go for a Nissan genuine oil filter, and use Mobil 1 5W-50 oil.
