Hey all, just found the answer to a common import issue. Gross, yellow or cloudy headlights. Great product by invison, the headlight restoration kit. All I can say is that it is amazing. Saved me so much money. Took all of two hours including drying time, easy to follow guide and everything comes in the box, $45 from autobarn. My headlights look like new.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!

I have just used a buffer and a fine cut paint cleaner (probably similar to swirl remover) when doing it on other people's cars, it lasts years before it starts to go yellow again, and you could probably just wax it when you wax the car to help protect from UV.

The fine cut cleaner works well on tail lights too. They don't normally go yellow, but they do lose their gloss finish after a while

Buffer does nothing its just a quick fix. The kit has a UV protected which "help prevents" it happening again.

I've done a few cars with this method, I don't think it's a quick fix. Some have been done for over two years and there as good as new.

LOL everytime this issue comes up I reach for the

And it don't cost $45 :)

Ironically look at the car on the bottle.....................

I'm in the U.S atm. How much is the Meguiar's in Australia?

I bought this http://www.fastbritereviews.org/ for around $12. Tempted to buy the 3M restoration kit to compare as its around $20. The Meguiar's is around $6 though they also sell the full Meguiar's restoration kit as well.. would be interested in buying one other, maybe putting tape through the middle and try both on each side.. or maybe not.. :whistling:

There is so much to buy here lol, maybe if I have the chance may get the G35 Battery Trim/Cover which will save on shipping. Wouldn't mind buying one from a wrecked G rather than new.
