RSFOURDayz
Hi guys.. Just a couple of quick questions... On the front of the throttle body of the RB30 down under where the intake pipe joins there is a small pipe connection that's for the Idle air when the throttle butterfly is closed. Is that meant to have a hose hooked up to it or not? If so, where too? And, is the AAC valve supposed to have a spring in it? I read somewhere to be careful when pulling it apart so as to not loose the spring, mine definitely did not have a spring. And help greatly appreciated. zebra
For the first one, there should be a nipple on the intake pipe between the AFM and throttle body. As for the spring no idea, but most have one Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/382871-rb30-questions/#findComment-6107390 Share on other sites
RSFOURDayz
This is a tiny nipple, like vacuum hose size and it's part of the throttle body, is that what you were thinking of? Berk
Don't mean to sound like a tard here but isn't it RB20, RB25 and RB26 only, or are you referring to a stoked RB26 or something. RSFOURDayz
Yeah I do, the hard black plastic one. But it's nothing to do with that, this is on the actual throttle body itself. StevenCJR31
get a gregorys (or similar) workshop manual and it will show you where these hoses go . . .as for the viscous hub, dont f#@k around with a secondhand (high mileage) unit, get a new one Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/382871-rb30-questions/#findComment-6142304 Share on other sites
