antenna not working

the antenna stopped automatically lifting/lowering whenever my HU was on/off, so now its permanently up. the motor sounds like its trying to lift/lower the antenna, but nothing apart from the sound is happening. any ideas on how i might fix this problem?

sounds like the plastic piece that moves the antenna is broken i had the same problem when i has a hilux the only option is to use it like a manual aerial and disconect the motor or get yourself a new staff take it to your stereo guy and ask him to have a look good luck let us know what happen aye

Sorry to bring this tread back to life, but i've got the same problem as dstylez, could hear the motor running but antenna doesn't wanna go down. Anyone knows how to get to the motor like pull the whole thing apart not just the arial?
