Keen As mustard to lower the V. I wanna keep the nice ride that I have with the stock springs but just that little tighter around the bends.

My wallet says lowering springs but my heart says coilovers....?

Thinking TEIN for both. Japanese attention to detail and quality.

Anything ideas/thoughts would be good.

My opinion is that the stock springs are hard enough. Every sort of coilover I have seen in a V35 makes them hard as hell and they lose that nice driveability.

I bought marginally harder and lowere Eibach springs, and new KYB shocks, combined with adjustable Godspeed sway bars. I think the daily comfort is good (I do 25,000km a year and use it as my work car), and the car also handles well on the track (I did a 1:49 around Wakefield the other week, and 1:28 around Mallala last week).

I have Ohlins adjustable coilovers which you may appreciate are fairly high on the list of better options. Unless you plan to drop the ride height more than 50mm the coilovers are probably overkill.

I've only dropped my ride height 30-40mm and achieved the look and handling I was after. If given the option again I'd go springs & struts as I could have achieved the same outcome.
