The light wasn't on when driving but just as the transmission clicked off it flashed up for a bit.

Even when it comes on while driving, theoretically it should lock centred and not do anything - still, I'd pull over and turn the car off for a while.

Mine used to do it while coming back from Sydney. ONLY while coming back, NEVER any other time. Was retarded. Now it's on permanently lol

mine comes on while im on the freeway. only after like an hour. must be something to do with driving in a straight line for so long coz it never happens in the twisties.

turn the car off and on again and it goes away.

haha yeah, was a catch to that though - I don't have the HICAS anymore Just a solid bar installed in its place, which is why the sensor is always chucking a wobbly and the light is on

Pull the bulb out haha that will fix it
