And think about your avatar at the same time.....

You make sense whitey, and when I get time I will test to see what voltage it passes, and then short cut it accordingly. Just thought that trail may have been paved.

We run a straight 2 1/2 all the way (Rules prevent anything bigger) and hence no cat. With elf Im not sure what the gas coming out the back is like... but the flames look trick and I dont care about the environment.

I have found before on the forums, while they are fun and generally informative... you can get 236.5 opinions on any topic you post. Which turbo is better, a HITACHI or PANASONIC. Which ECu is best.. Mac or Microsoft.

But ask which pin controls a boost solenoid on a PFC and silence....

Thanks for the input troops...

Got 19 GT-Rs to race... goal, have less in front of me than last year. That was 4.

The probe that goes into the cat is a temp probe that is designed to prevent you from overheating your cat.

Once the the temperature indicates an overheating cat, the stock ecu will put the ecu in limp home mode - and allow it to cool - more environmental stuff that as you indicated, you dont really care about too much (bad tom:p)

I had mine removed (high flow cat didnt have a hole for it) and just tucked into the chassis rail (there is a very handy hole in there) for about 8 months - with stock ecu and power fc fitted - and it made no difference to how the car ran (obviously, it only effects things when it gets too hot).

Not really worth welding in place, as if for some reason you need to swap out, or remove your exhaust, you are turning a 5 minute job into a much larger one - pointless really, but each to their own.

hope that makes sense.
