Yeah the transaxle is by Albins Off Road.

I know of a certain Aussie Superlap/time attack car eagerly awaiting the chance to swap the current Hollinger S6 for a new Albins Transaxle.

There'll be a plethora of Hollingers available once to COTF launches..... one would assume. Shame the V8SC version isn't really suitable for most of us.

yeah it's a bit of a shocker. typical of street circuits, but this one seems to be worse than most. it's a bit too narrow in a lot of places.

Everyone I know who has actually driven the circuit says it's the most exciting street circuit to drive. It rewards the brave, and punishes the impatient, everything you want from

Besides the fact it takes away from all the other nsw

venues the circuit deserves a place in the championship.

It was entertaining racing despite the high repair bills many teams now face.

Don't totally agree with rewarding the patient as it seems the impatient get the rewards

Personally it would make a better time attack track than a race track

I thought our governments plan was to get speed off the streets, so I spose this means cutting EC in half , so you get half the value for the money - really don't see this as an inticer.

Wouldn't our taxpayers money be better off supporting Bathurst Extension (not only cause I am close), assistance to Wakefield Park or other venues sought as a permanant structure.

Govt. doesn't actually care about speed off the street Stu.. only votes.

Unfortuately motorsport (whilst a huge sport across the community wide, as a spectator sport) doesn't suck in massive political advantage.

I only wish we could get the amount of land that GOLF courses have.

Think about the average 50yr old impotent kock running about on sunday morning, smacking a rubber golf ball... vs 180km/hr at T1 at EC.

Sad, really.

I have SIX major suburb-sized golf courses within five minutes ftive of my place. Give me the shits.

Golf courses dont make any noise, are popular with the retired and increase land value.

Most race tracks can be heard from 5km away which affect a few thousand people.

not to mention polution, etc.

and yeah the noise is a big thing. on a quiet night, with the wind blowing in the right direction, when i lived out of town i could hear the speedway, and it was on the opposite side of town, about 15kms away as the crow flies.
