yes it is possible but difficult you need to use a hoist to make it easy but can be done jacking up the car,lowering rear gearbox mount also helps.

BTW: You need to get the starter motor off before you can take the gearbox off

The top bolt on the starter is a right pain in the butt. Just take your time and you'll get it. Just make sure you have a few different sized extension bars and a uni joint or two
