Hey Guys,

I'm looking at getting all of my intake piping either made up or buying a kit depending on recommendations and others experiences. Currently my intercooler piping goes through the stock holes near the POD filter. I wanted to change this so I can make a custom intake box. I'd also like to get a hard piped CAI but not sure where to get one from or if anyone knows where I should go to get one made up. If anyone has any idea's or tips regarding this I'd appreciate it. I've checked Ebay but I'm not really interested in cheap "clip together" pipes that are for sale.

Located in Southern Adelaide.

Piping is for S2 RS4

Cheers,

James.

Also, AM Performance were going to do one for me. Give Andrew a call, 0401865373.

His workshop is at Greenwith, so not South, but worth travelling for.

Cheers for the tip Ryan, I'll be sure to get a quote from him.

Obviously I'd like to travel as close as possible due to work every day.. But if it's worth the trip I'm sure I can organize something.

Does he also do Silicone hosing and fixtures, etc.. I'm looking at Updating my Engine Bay if possible, but haven't been able to find decent workshops anywhere.. It's always a case of either trying to rip me off or just do dodgy work...

Cheers for the help!

I can vouch for Andrew's work, top notch stuff.

He mainly does performance mods and fabrication, primarily exhausts and dump pipes, so I'm sure the fixtures are fine. Not sure about the silicone hosing but won't hurt to ask!

Tell him Ryan with the M35 sent you.

honestly mate, for all the stuff your looking at doing you'd be better off just converting it all back to stock. the factory airbox is not a restriction and it comes with its own CAI. plus it wont cost anything if u still have the bits. ive got no idea where the rumor that pods give u more power came from but it just isnt true. try them out back to back (stock VS pod) next time ur on the dyno.

Yeah man I understand from a power point of view, but I'm not looking at doing the piping for any power gains, I'm doing it to tidy up my engine bay. The stock stuff is fine but if I wanted a car to keep stock then I would have bought something else.

Cheers for the advice though.

Lol was there today. That's usually where I park if I drive in, but I only drive in once every 2-3 months, when I have heaps of stuff to carry in. Too expensive to drive in and park every day.

Yeah man my wallet is usually pretty light after parking there but unfortunately for me, I'm a creature of convenience. And starting work at 4:50am means no buses.. :glare:
