Good news and bad news....

Good news is that the engine is out and the process of pulling it down has begun. Can confirm that it is an N1 block so hopefully the internals aren't to bad. The clutch is in awesome condition and the head has had some serious recondition work done with some Grex camshafts installed, no idea what the specs for them are yet though. Also have a pair of trust/greddy T517Z's bolted the the hot side.

Bad news is that the front turbo had a fair bit of oil in its intake pipe and looks like it has a bit of shaft play. We're most likely gonna be up for a new sump/diff as the right hand diff/driveshaft connection has seized. The engine and engine bay loom look like they've had some dodgeying up at some point so going to need to fix that up. And one of the nismo airflow meters doesn't look to be in the best condition so contemplating ditching the power fc for something that doesn't use AFM's.

So work has begun and hopefully by the end of today we'll know exactly what kind of costs we're gonna be up for to get the engine back in and running well.
