Rb20 Turbo Choice

Hi everyone,

sorry to hit you all with this, but im pretty new to the whole turbo thing and im finding it a bit hard to find what im after when searching as alot of posts have very mixed opinions.

Im looking to purchase a new turbo shortly for my 32. i have all the supporting mods for around 240-250 rwkw and am just finding it difficult to choose a turbo. so obviously i want something that will easily flow the 250 but still retain some sort of response becase it will be street driven.

Im tossing up between the gt2860rs and the 2871R (mind you, i have only looked at garrett s far). the other confusing thing for me is the different housings, i dont want to pick the wrong housing for my application.

im also after a turbo thats straight bolt up. i can alter the cooler piping if need be (i assume i will have to) but i just want standard exhaust and dump flanges

Any advice is greatly appreciated guys
