Turbo Replacement Advice

well the bolt came out 20 minutes after I posted this, that was the only good news for the night though!!!

Found out the braided oil line doesn't fit the turbo end (thread is wider)

Found out I don't have the banjo bolt for the water return - the one I got with the r33 turbo won't fit the rb20 block (its too big)

The front pipe I got doesn't seem to be fitting in too well, it might once I've lined everything up but I've got a bad feeling about it - anyone know if the front pipe from 33's fit 32 exhausts? *Edit* just read up on it and apparantly they're a straight swap - so bit of sunshine!!!

Overall, my back is WRECKED and I'm exhausted. The turbo is sitting on the manifold so I guess its a step forward. Once I get the banjo bolt from somewhere somehow tomorrow, I will fit that and the stock oil feed line, and connect everything else up except the front pipe and hopefully have everything done before I have to tackle the front pipe.

I'm VERY tempted at this stage to call a guy called "Rob". Sam (Drdrift) recommended I call him if I need help installing the turbo and he might do a house job and come help me put it together...

and the more I look - the more difficult it is to look for banjo bolts apparantly, i'm going to see Pirtek tomorrow to see what they have, can't find the size of a stock r33 turbo oil feed and the rb20 block water return banjo bolts anywhere!!

By the sound of it you will have to use the banjo off the rb20 on the block (can you get a standard line from the wrecker) and the 25 one on the turbo, just cut them off with about an inch or so of copper line still attached them use some hose over the remaining line to join them, thats what I did, just use 2 hose clamps on each one to be sure it is secure.
