Thats the spirit. I like you already!

What's not to like?

Can't wait for this.

Is there any shelter on site, or are umbrellas going to be popular?

We bring shelter, basically the officials on the course will all have shelter (so the event doesnt stop due to rain) and then the rest of it is put up for spectators so they can still watch whats going on. Usually takes a bit of setting up in the morning, you'll see us setting up in the morning. If it rains, drivers stay in their cars between runs and passengers just get a bit wet haha

Small note to anyone coming with a GTR;

If you want to launch, thats perfectly fine and it's encouraged because a)i think it looks cool and b)Texi's are off the streets so you can enjoy this kind of car legally. The courses are designed so you can launch if you want, if you dont want to launch, thats fine too - it isnt mandatory. The start gates for "launchable" (yes thats a word now) maps all have straights in front of them. Please dont launch with any steering angle applied (eg, only launch with the front wheels pointing straight), launching with steering angle applied is a big stress to the stock sump and they do get damaged. Launching is perfectly safe, in a straight line.

Also, It's a smart idea to overfill your sump by a litre or so of oil.

If you find yourself understeering big time (car not turning as far as the wheels are pointed and you're foot is on the accelerator), back off the throttle and this will help you get around the cone.

There will be help there on the day if anyone wants it for basic tips and tricks etc

Most important thing though? Have fun, thats what we're there for!

I have one that can multiply the standard signal sent to the attessa ecu.

Even on the street in the wet, you can feel the difference.

Turn it up, and its nearly like youre driving in the dry again.

Will obviously vary the feeling dependant on the power you are running.

If youre coming to texi, jump in with me, and have a feel.

Especially if its raining.
