Has Anyone Scaled The Stock R33 Fuel Tank Level Sensors?

To save me the hassle has anyone accurately scaled the resistance calibration of the 2 in series fuel level sensors in an R33 GTR stock fuel tank to work with a digital dash or data logger? Thanks.

I doubt the data would be relevant, your talking about a 20 year old sliding resistor..... Im sure the resistance across it would be different between examples..

should just be a matter of giving it power, hooking a multimeter up to it and sliding the float up and down.

plot the full, mid and empty readout and go from there. I would imaging it would be fairly linear

Depends on pull-up resistors used also. And having a tank that has the hump in the middle aint gonna help calibration.

Measure the signal and pour 5L of fuel in at a time. On an empty tank it might be good to do it 0.5L at a time for the first 5L so you can accurately gauge low fuel

FWIW, the standard 32 gtr senders are not linear from full to empty, so be careful guessing based on that! I would take the 5l and measure, repeat option.
