Exhaust Flexi Joints

so planning my dump setup was thinking I should put a flexi joint in at the base of the dump..

So I picked up a 3 inch flexi joint but the inside of it looks like its only about 2.5 inches.

Surely this could easily be a restriction straight after the turbo right?

i know its a good idea to put them in to help stop exhaust vibration but is there a better way. i have a twin front pipe so cant really put it anywhere else..

Can you find a bigger flexi joiner?

yeah, I just realized the joiner i had was too short, the longer ones are less restrictive

But, dont matter Ive just been advised by a workshop that they burn out quickly and its more trouble than its worth and i should ditch it...

that might be good a s a temporary wastegate pipe

not that specific size for the exhaust, you can get it in any size you want and its generally not that expensive.
