Hey , so I had a crash. Rooted the cas and front end. So I replaced the cas, then started the car and moved it up the driveway (on a slight hill) car was pulled apart (front end) last sat. And has been re assembled to a point where only thing that is missing is head lights the themo fan and air con unit is in but do t think hooked up.

So I go to start the car and won't start it just turns over but nothing. I though maybe cos on hill so I rolled it out and nose down hill noe. But still won't start.

Idk what can it be. Battery has been out so I don't kno how this effects the ecu and I have a safc2 .

Help woul be much appreciated :)

It turns over but has no guts. Would a week battery still make everything turn on but not enough to start it?

Also on my vault gauge it sits about 11-12 like normal when on ignition but when I try and start it now it drops to 8-9 surely that can't be right, I never looked when starting the car before.

You sure it is in the correct location though? If the CAS is out, it won't kick over.

To test. While some one is cranking over the car, rotate the CAS a little bit to see if it starts to fire.

unbolt the cas, plug it in and spin it by hand, you should hear the injectors pulse and fuel pump turn on, quick way to check to see if your cas/wiring is working, I always do this on my wiring test bench for conversions, tho use a noid light in-place of injectors.

Yer I have done that and you can them click, and can hear fuel pump in rear also.

Tried jump start. No good maybe didn't wait long enough was about 5-10 though a positive was on the gauge the vaults went up to 12-13 not 10-11 and when trying to start only went to 10-11 but I'll go get more fuel and occupy that idea.

How do you mean pull the cas out and had turn it while someone I starting the car? Like pull it right out and turn the stem whilst someone is trying to start it?

Nah, he means loosen it and slowly swivel it in its adjustment slots while someone cranks the motor over. If it fires up in a certain position then that means you had the setting wrong. You'd still have to fine tune it though to get it exact. Then lock it off and your good to go.

Still having problems, engine cranks over but won't fire?? Is there a standard immobilizer that will stop it firing? I've rotated cas while tried starting and nothing . Taken cas out and rotated and can hear the injectors clicking.

What has me is that before the front end was pulled apart and I only just replaced the cas with a new one it fired straight away. Then now radiator and supports has been replaced it won't be nice. Like I said only thing missing out is head lights and thermo fan. Even tried putting headlights on and starting. Put more fuel in and nothing also.

Is there a immobilizer or something that has to be reset I have a safc2 and a turbo timer but I dont kno how this would effect it??

Can something to do with spark just pack and not work??
