33 Airbox Question

On the airbox on my 33 gts (na) there's the rectangular hole on the side which is sucking hot air from my engine bay ,is there meant to be a snorkel that mounts practically in top of the radiator so it can suck in fresh air? If so where can I get one? Nsw preferably? Newcastle more preferred?

I see stock airbox's come up for about $50 pretty regularly.

I doubt you'll buy the snorkel by itself unless you go to a wreckers.
