Hey guys,

So since i bought my 34, iv noticed that my headlights are angled too high, and when driving behind someone that is about 10 metres in front of me, it looks like i am blinding them! (and i dont even have HID's yet!)

iv tried playing around with the adjuster near the drivers side, but im pretty sure thats broken.

Iv heard that is a screw near the headlight itself where it can be adjusted, but i cant seem to find it

can anyone help me out with this, and if possible, post up some pictures

thanks!

Have a look in the DIY section, some guy has a tutorial on installing HID's to his R34 headlights, on one of the pic, it shows the little adjustment screw.

i had a look in the DIY, and dont think i found it.

can someone link me to it, or please try help somehow!

That's the one lol, didn't think it was too hard to find...

Most cars have an adjuster. looks like a little cog that you can lever slowly with a flat blade screw driver. I did a 370z on the weekend only I adjusted them up not down. Park 1 meter away from a white wall, put the lights on and adjust. 10mm of adjustment of the beam on the wall will give you about 5-10m on the ground (most cars vary)

white cog if you look at the bonnet catch look left or right and you will see it just behind the light it may have a screw type bolt going to it for easy adjustment or it wont if not go upto a wall close and turn it you will see wat it does then go back like old mate said befor and adjust it right for you

    • Update time!  The JZX110 had some maintenance needing to be done, so a lot of the seals with replaced to fix some oil leaks. Also used this opportunity to whack on a front mount that I'd bought some time ago.  I also finally got the rear lip painted and fitted.  I then got the exhaust done. It's just a catback for now. Custom made 3" stainless with a turn down. I could have a tip coming out, but it will require cutting the rear lip and possibly the bumper itself. So far I do like and it's made the car a little more zippy.  Close out with some nice pictures of the cars and a sneak peek of what's next.

    • Just something I found searching for more info on Emotion R, apparently the ECR33 Skyline GTS25t was either originally black, or there were two of them, the black one being the original demo car, then building a white one which was part of the 1997-onwards (to at least 2008!) Cockpit Tatebayashi Tokyo Auto Salon booth demo cars. It appears that Emotion R closed down in 2008 and was declared bankrupt in 2010: http://bank-db.com/hasan/208365. I used to love doing this 20 years ago on SAU and got a bit nostalgic for a moment... 😅
