Don't wanna be a deterrent here, but from what I've gathered - formals held at the museum are the MOST LIKELY to have RTA tossers in the carpark just after dropoff to potentially defect ppl...

That being said, when they pulled me up the only complaint I got was no front number plate, which I told them the front bumper hadn't been drilled to hold it yet and they just warned me on it...ehh

I could possibly be interested in the stagea if they like that as well. not worried about rta as the car is pretty much stock.

Good friends with mivec so could be a fun drive lol!

Let me know as im not sure what hours i will be working that week!

I'd be keen to come for a drive. Give me an excuse to make my car look all purdy. I've got a black 33 GTST. Can post a photo if you like when I'm on the computer. Used to do them all the time in my mustang. Yet to take the skyline for a formal so I'm keen.

Pretty stock but looks alright.

Tell me if they are interested.

I haven't had any issues in the cars i've driven to formals and I have done one in mine and one in another Skyline, both were fine.

I'm specifically talking about formals held at the National Museum

I'm specifically talking about formals held at the National Museum

I got defected the day after i did national museum the year before last, at the end of my street.

probably a coincidence but still shit >_<

however on that note im willing to drive if you need more cars - black R33 GTR, black rims, exhaust and more

    • I've also got a quick jack. I would never get under my car again without using it.  While it might be quicker to use a jack and stands, it is such a quality of life improvement that I wouldn't have it any other way now.  How much slower the quick jack is to setup will be based on your circumstances. Can you leave the jack rails on each side of the garage? Can you leave the hydraulic lines attached? etc.  If you can drive the car into the garage and simply push the jacking rail thingos under the car into place, it is super quick to setup and use. But if you have to pull the pump unit out of storage, attach the hydraulic lines, wheel out the lifting rail thingos.... yeah takes a bit of time. Having said that, I would still prefer that to using a jack and stands lol.
    • Sydney Tools have them for ~$3400. More than the Quick Lifts but these seem better. https://sydneytools.com.au/product/quickjack-7000tl208240v-5175642-7000lb-110220v-portable-light-duty-truck-and-passenger-car-lift-system
    • I've seen these as well https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/395822887806?chn=ps&_ul=AU&mkevt=1&mkcid=28&google_free_listing_action=view_item&srsltid=AfmBOooak9PFJJwwNDusr8TrZ5lsminTjComhJr-Z4dJ52Tt35T1hBPl0wk&gQT=1 but always seemed a bit dodgy lol
    • Yeah same with the GTR but in practice that is pretty easy because the car is so high, and the stands only go from sill end to sill end so you don't need to wriggle far
