hey serious question,

are you a private importer? or a restorer? thats probably the 5th car in the past maybe 12months I've seen on carsales in that same driveway and the format you write up all your carsales ads is exactly the same, not being rude and excuse me if i'm wrong but it just seems according to your ads you've always "Recently" spent like 5k on them and have just received a company car.... I'm only asking because it just seems extremely odd, nothing wrong with being a private importer or buying a poor condition car and fixing it up and having physically inspected 2 of your cars before both were in very good condition, so whatever your doing is fine but yeah, glws.

Hi, I own a few cars, still do.

Not trying to be a show pony but for example at the moment for example I own a Evo VIII MR, 370Z and 2x R34's. Trying to move them slowly and upgrading some of them.

Company car is on the way and has been for a while, but delaying 4 as long as I can garage is full and dont want to keep it outside. So yeah, not a private importer, or restorer. Probably hard to actually make money on cars, I'm pretty picky so they cost me a fortune but worth every cent in the end.

Come 2 think of it, I have also helped a few friends and family sell their cars recently. I would have taken their photos in my driveway and probably used my ad as a template for simplicity. So can imagine why that would raise your questions. Pretty observative of you though, good pickup.

Hey I just remembered when I sold my Evo VII early this year, I had a guy from Northshore area named Adam look at it, but we unfortunately couldnt agree on price? Is this you if so thanks you saved my ass from buying a R34 GTR thjat was very shiny but may have had a bent chassis so thanks 4 telling me about its history. I never got to thank u cos I lost your number.

thanks for clearing that up, like I said, I have seen 2 of your cars, both are very immaculate, so for anyone interested in this 34, assume it's in prestine condition. goodluck with the sale.

    • Yeah - My key still does the chime thing. I followed the procedure but it didn't activate on the (identical) third set of keyfob that I had. I vaguely remember the alarm saying you can only pair two keys with it. Now that I've dug it up, it appears that you very much can pair keyfobs to the alarm system. (which are the fobs I use to unlock the car). I have successfully diverted the thread and can probably not use the OEM keyfob ever again unless I use the aftermarket alarm and attempt to pair the OEM keyfob to it. Which might just work, or not :D. I definitely used the nissan method and not the aftermarket alarm method.
    • What makes it worse is that Nissan made keys in the same style, for example R34 and Stagea, but they work at different frequencies or something like that. So they look the same but the remotes are not interchangeable. I learned that from some guy selling aftermarket blank keys.
    • Does your door chime work when you have the key in the lock and open the door? I've had that disabled because it's f**king annoying and it is one thing that messes with the pairing. Because now the car doesn't detect key in ignition anymore and the slide-key-in-and-out sequence does not trigger the pairing mode anymore. The service manual has a section on the various bits involved in doing the syncing. I presume it'll be similar between Stagea and R34.
    • Agree, but meh, I think is is based more on LOLS than actually apples to apples, like, who would have thunk a turbo 4 cylinder would not beat a NA 4 cylinder  I think with just basic N/A mods, like a exhaust and tune, it would be equal to the Mini in its current form, maybe I know my current 2.5 would "chop the mini" as the midrange now has a night and day difference in power delivery compared to the tuned 2.0, by around 20kwatw and 30nm from around 2k rpm "ish"....... I'm kinda hoping that they do a N/A build, either with the MZR 2.0 or with whatever they decide to use If I recall correctly they did talk about K swapping one a while ago
    • Can't see that being a thing.
