Hey all, I bought a Canon 600D back in August and am already thinking about upgrading to a more professional camera.

It's in perfect condition and have taken about 3000 shots but can confirm later.

Looking at around $800 just for the body and charger comes in the box and CD's and strap.

If anyone is interested pls PM ME

Located in Hills area Sydney.

A 7d has more 'nick-nak' features, otherwise the only main things it would be an upgrade from is higher fps, the very slightest low light upgrade. Same image sensor.

The 600d is a great camera... Upgrading to anything other than a 5d or a 1d isn't really an upgrade.

Get a good lens - you will then see how good your camera really is. If you upgrade to a 60d... the upgrades are very minimal.

Have a look at: http://snapsort.com/compare/Canon-600d-vs-Canon_EOS_60D

If you want better image quality etc... 5d or 1d otherwise I wouldn't bother

I take a different view. A 60D I wouldnt bother with - a 7D I would. The 7D has alot of good features it is not just about sensor size.

Yet to see what the 5D mk 3 has to offer. If you are not in a rush maybe wait for that & if it is not what you are after the 5D Mk 2's will be cheaper by then. A 5d is a balls achingly good camera for the money.

I am using the 7D, and I wouldn't upgrade to it from a 600D.

Not sure about you, but if I upgrade the camera, I want better photo quality (Not talking about crop size). When I upgrade, I look at image quality, then I look into the small features

    • Hey good to see you on the forums! Haha Considering this cars past with electronic issues I am leaning towards it being a wiring fault somewhere in the engine bay. When testing the ac relay in the fuse box there was no earth trigger. I am probably going to try "bench test" the compressor by giving it direct ground and power to see if i can hear the ac clutch click otherwise I will be pretty sure I have a dead compressor. If it does work then I will be tracing some wiring it seems.
    • Haha, the big brain move is to buy a second set of headlights to clean up or retrofit. I definitely don't have one sitting in a cupboard that hasn't been touched since it arrived. Just have to ignore the intrusive thoughts that suggest the second set is not quite as good as it could be and to buy a third set that the job would definitely get done with
    • Nah I'm talking about the GTS-t with 15" wheels and single piston brakes.  I've seen them pop up occasionally over the years. You can see it in the brochures. Most were early models (aka Series 1).
    • Oh man... I've been here, that's for sure. I love my ugly but still functional headlights that can never come apart again.
