Hairline Cracks In My Headlight Lense!

As per title, I polish my headlights every week. Takes 2 minutes and it comes out clear, but I have noticed that there are hairline fractures on the inside of the lense as well as some yellowing.

Are these just marks from the lights/dust etc? Can I open up the head light and clean it all up or should I just but some new ones?

well if your considering buying new ones you may as well have a crack at fixing these by perhaps opening them up and seeing what you can do...

and of course report back here to let us know how you went...

cracks are from the old plastic heating up and cooling when you turn your lights on and off. they are within the plastic surface and wont piss off with a polish. get new lights lol

couldnt you "theretically" take the lense apart anduse some wet and dry 800grit and sand them and give them a lick of clearcoat??? dont know if it would fix the problem but its worth a shot?

Only way out of it is a new headlight id say

From my experience those cracks are due to UV damage from the sun. As far as I know they can’t be removed. You’ll need new lights.
