Driveline Oils Rs4S

Hi guys,

Great forum you have here, let me start by saying I have done my (countless) searches on driveline oils for my series 2 RS4S and would like to run it by the gurus to let me know what you think.

From what I can gather my driveline is basically the same as a 33GTR so after going through all the info I have come up with the following products for a service:

Engine - undecided...

Gearbox - Castrol Syntrax 75W - 90

T/Case - Castrol Transmax Z

Attessa - Castrol Transmax Z

Rear Diff - Castrol SAF - XA

Front Diff - Castrol Syntrax 75W - 90

Power Steer - Castrol Transmax Z

Any glaring issues? Would like to keep with one manufacturer for simplicity but not 100% required.

That'll be fine . Get some Motul 300v for your engine.

I dunno Bob. I haven't done any oil testing but my engine has a sump full of 300v at the moment and the only difference I notice between it and the oil I had before (Valvoline "Fully synthetic") is that my wallet is lighter.

Thanks guys , will give the Motul a go as I use that brand in my bikes and it seems to do the job well

Your right though BKR - it's not cheap...
