Is it ok to tap into the same line for the boost controller and gauge? went to tap into the line that goes to the factory boost gauge for my apexi gague but my boost controller is already tapped into it.

if you only want to read how much pressure is in that line it'll be fine

but i assume you want to read actual manifold pressure in which case you will need to route it off something after the intake butterfly valve. should be a couple lines to choose from. i dunno about r34's but my r33 has a little black box sitting on the upper right side of the firewall. i think its the electronic boost gauge sender thingy. try tapping into that

what sort of boost controller are you running? most boost controllers run better if you have the feed line for it situated before the intercooler (this may mean putting a nipple in the piping).

as for where to tap into for the boost gauge, there are plenty of vaccum lines you can use, such as the one for the bov

Running a greddy profec b spec 2 boost controller, i just uplugged the hose from the stock black box boost guage thing near the firewall and ran the hose to the apexi boost gauge. Seems to be working fine. i just assumed the other vac line tapped into that line going through the firewall would be to the boost controller. Im new to turbos so still learning.
