Timing Belt Gear

trying to remove the timing belt gear off crank to get oil pump off so i can drop crank out, does anyone know an easy way cause this one has got me f**ked

yes there is an easy way but it may be too late.

make sure it comes off straight. even a slight angle on it will jam it so damn tight you will never get it off.

I get them off 9 times out of 10. I do still have 1 crank with a timing gear and oil pump on it that I never worked out.

worst comes to worst, you can cut it off.

how do I get it to come off straight the problem I've got is I can't get the puller on it anywhere so it looks like a screwy in behind with a hammer : (

yep.

lots of angles, a few screwdrives/pry bars, and slowly.

I've never been able to get a puller past the bloody oil pump flange either

hahaha yeah pain is arse, but got it thanks, 5 inch cordless angle grinder with a 1mm disc, cold chesiel and a big hammer and it fell right off so now i can send the crank off for preping tomorrow, cheers mate
