is there a reason more people dont use this compressor wheel for twin applications??

it spools better than the -10s with more top end than the -5s

also seems better on the surge line compared to the gtx2863????

Gav any news?

Funny you should ask. These were released in the USA this week and I have a pair of these bad boys (GTX2863R) on the way to me as we speak.

I'll swap over my existing turbine housings, so exhaust fittment should be OK. There will be some cut and shut work on my HKS hard pipe induction kit required, however as the GTX terbs use straight hose connections in and out of the compressor housing rather than the bolted flanges. Ordered the new adjustable actuator brackets along with the new Garrett 22psi actuators.

Also need to upgrade my injectors yet again as the HKS 1000cc units are maxing out with E85. Time for some ID 2000 units I think.

Hope to have Xspeed start on the job late next week with hopefully a comparison graph available the following week.

Watch this space.

Hope those springs you're talking about are soft ones... For the rear of the car mate... ;)

Strong ones for cams :)

I've done some modifications to the rear end now and it grips a lot better, might go ET streets as well this year!

:) Yeah I knew you meant cams, I was just stirring you up.. I know how GTR's with grip annoy you. ;)

So how long till they offer these to be direct fit.....

Probably never as the market for BR26 applications is declining obviously.

However, you can order the turbine covers seperately. As stated only the compressor inlet and outlet use slip on hoses rather than bolted flanges

Might be worth welding on 90 ally bends to the outlets gav, I'm having constant issues with the flex from 90deg silicon bends

Just arrived - maybe first pair in Oz?

Hopefully new design actuator brackets will make life easier on the install

Difference with 2530s is usually 20-40rwkw so for that it would be worth it if someone was wanting a little more than -5s - but as a non HKS rape price.

Wouldn't this be a reasonable solution to that issue?

Very interested to see the result, though I don't have my breath held for anything amazing, none of the GTX results so far have excited me - the best ones I have seen so far are almost as good as the Precision/ForcedPerformance equivalents which have been around for a few years. Would be nice to be surprised, though!
