Will RB26 fit RB25

Hi,

Were doing a project and rebuilding the standard RB25 bottom end with forgies and rods etc: but were putting a RB26 head on. will this fit ? and whats involved in connecting it up eg: wiring loom is it different to the RB25 (coil packs etc) any other obstucals that we should look out for ?

it has been done many times before so it can be done,

but if i were yopu i would do alot more research into it before spending alot of money on parts and stuffing around...

if you are going to go that far, maybe you should look at a RB30/26 as these can hold as much if not more power and it would be a 3Ltr.

we have done 2 of these and god damn they fly... 1 in a Vl comm, and the other in a R33

head bolts are bigger in the rb26 head so you will need to drill the block to suit
