Water Leaks In Footwells Of R31

Can anyone help me?

My Silhouette R31 leaks water in the footwells - both passenger and driver's side from the front bulkhead when it rains. Any ideas how to fix this problem? Ashleigh.

i remember in my old vl i think it came through the air vents for the air con

yes, it will be rusted out somewhere around the underside of the windscreen . . ., keeping pulling things off the car till you find it, if you are keeping the car then dont use silicon on anything except for the windsceen

Before you do that, just check your grommet where all the wiring comes in through the firewall, its usually [but could be different for a R31] under the inner gaurd cover. If its not sitting right, or has split, you can get a swimming pool filled from it on a wet day.

thats a factoryu option in HR31's and Vee ell commo's. Usually rust under the screen or behind the front lower screen panel. If ya lucky it could be a grommet, usually isnt tho...
