Custom Making Power Steering Lines

Hey all, so i've got to make up some custom power steering lines to suit my exact setup. I've got an R33 rack in my R31. I've been using the R33 lines in the past, and while they work, but they never really fit properly and look like a dogs breakfast. R31 lines do not fit as the fittings are wrong.

I'm looking at making up a new aluminium hard tube return line that will go to the oil cooler and then back to the reservoir. I have that sussed.

My question lies with the high pressure line from the pump to the rack. Has anyone made up a flex hose all the way from the pump to the rack? I was thinking of using the high pressure line you get from speedflow or the similar and then using AN fittings to get it all to work at the rack and at the pump.

Reason for going flex line is for ease i guess. I dont need to get someone like pirtek to make up the line. I can just simply do it myself with speedflow fittings. It'll probably look a bit neater and be easier to work with and change where it goes if need be.
