Exhaust Manifold Coolant Stud Leak

Hey guys I need some ideas well I used easy out to get out 5/6 broken exhaust manifold stud 1 didn't want to come out but we kept trying at the end we gave up so left it in there and put everything back together started it up all good top up the coolant and WTF COOLANT leaking out of the exhaust manifold stud that we didn't take out but attempted to. Did my mate drill into the water gallery if the head? What now new head? Or can seal it up some how?

Its very easy to drill into the head by accident. U could try to seal it up i guess. Bit of a tricky one

put the thread in, weld it, hope you never have to take it out again. good luck

That sucks man get the stud removed the put a new one in with thread locker and hope it never has to be changed again.

seal it with what tho? Does any one know anything about Heli-coil or who comes out and does them? M10x1.25mm

Put thread locker on the stud it will help seal but will make it near impossible to get out again. Could be your best option otherwise you may have to pull the head off and get it repaired

Bsa - I would do that but getting it out later doesn't bother me but the stud hole it self is f**ked from trying to get the broken stud out
