Just got my r32 gtr comp tested

Cylinders 1 to 5 are on 160

Cylinder 6 is 75

Can this cause engine cut out?

Help please.

Man I think your up for a re build! That is mega low might be lucky and have a blown head gasket

Put a cap full of oil down into the cylinder. If the compression goes up, it's time to pull the engine out.

But, I'm going to tell you the engine looks pretty f**ked anyway.

You're going to need about $5k to $10k to rebuild depending on what you do.

I was running low comp

Cyl 1 150psi

Cyl 2 150psi

Cyl 3 150psi

Cyl 4 100psi *

Cyl 5 50psi *

Cyl 6 150psi

Had these figures for 4 years

Making 280rwkw for 2 years of that.

Only doing a rebuild now because of spun bearing.

Might miss a little at idle, but you should be ok.

Start saving for another engine or rebuild, and so it when you can.
