First up, what a fantastic evening. It was great to see that the rain didn't dampen anyone's spirits and everyone enjoyed themselves regardless.

I'd like to give a big thank you to all the Members. You guys (and girls) are the reason why the club what it is today. We are growing year on year and it's encouraging that we have so many new members who have joined.

I would also like to extend my thanks to the Exec committee and to our Sponsors.

Big thanks to Noel for being the driving force behind the event along with basically every other event this past year. Without the Silver Fox's efforts, this year would have been very boring!

As a club we are in a very stable financial position with the help of Boz and his willingness not to spend anything...

Also thanks goes out to Tim, Andy and Clint for their help throughout the year. (Sorry Andy and Clint, I didn't get a pics of you )

Without the help from Mr Benno, we wouldn't have nice things like web pages and the forum.

Also a big thanks goes out to Dan. The phrase everyone knows, 'Dan Built'.

Thanks goes to Joe for his efforts on organising cruises and happy laps.

Chris is a man that everyone knows. He is the best option when it comes to keeping our cars safe. Without him, we wouldn't have the number of cars in the club as we do today.

I would also like to thank Dion for his efforts in handling the mammoth task of our Membership needs. Since taking over the roll, things have started moving smoothly.

Thanks goes out to Paul for giving us access to his Championship rounds. Many of us live out our childhood dreams of being race car drivers by participating in his track days.

Also like to thank our latest sponsor Dave. He's the man who took the pics of all the cars lined up on the grid at the Charity Cruise. He also does car photoshoots.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

    • Very interesting, im not sure how all those complications fit in to running a haltech instead of a stock ecu but I'm starting to think I'm a bit out of my league.
    • I just put 2 and 2 together. This is a Neo converted R32. The Neo ECU (in concert with the R34's AC controller) runs the AC quite differently to how the R32 ECU and AC controller do it. If you just drop it all in, it won't work. There is some tricky wiring required, including changing to the pressure switch that the Neo controllers want to see. I don't know what it is, because mine was done by a guru. It was a year or so after I did that transplant before he worked out what needed to be done.
    • Don't assume the AC relay signal from the ECU is +, some models including Stagea use an earth trigger.
    • Hey good to see you on the forums! Haha Considering this cars past with electronic issues I am leaning towards it being a wiring fault somewhere in the engine bay. When testing the ac relay in the fuse box there was no earth trigger. I am probably going to try "bench test" the compressor by giving it direct ground and power to see if i can hear the ac clutch click otherwise I will be pretty sure I have a dead compressor. If it does work then I will be tracing some wiring it seems.
    • Haha, the big brain move is to buy a second set of headlights to clean up or retrofit. I definitely don't have one sitting in a cupboard that hasn't been touched since it arrived. Just have to ignore the intrusive thoughts that suggest the second set is not quite as good as it could be and to buy a third set that the job would definitely get done with
