Hicas Vs Non Hicas Brakes

Hi guys.

I have just bought some 32 brakes that came off a hicas car and the part of the knuckle where the rear trailing arm connects has a ball joint and wont fit as i dont have hicas. Can this be punched out? or will it pop out if i remove the clip thats seems to be holding it in place? This question does sound stupid i admit, but i cant really see how this supposed clip would be holding the ball joint in place.

Are the knuckles even the same?

I have a 1989 skyline without Hicas. as i said the brakes came of a turbo R32 with hicas.

its not taperd,.....

yes. it will push out. you will need to heat it up and make a puller, of a workshop can do it. the non hicas bush will go in in its place..
