whatever the list price is?

No one pays list in Australia unless its a pre order or very shortly after release.

The answer to your Q depends on "when". If you want a 2011 now expect circa 5-10k

If you want a 2012 early next yr, expect to pay close to list.

I poicked up 1 of the last 2010's 3 months ago and got 18k off

planning to buy it xmas time.. saw one for 174990 on carsales.com.au new from a dealer, would i be able to get any more off?

thanks

surely actual negotiations with said dealer will give you a better result than some forum heresay

Whats wrong with trying to get a feel for the level of discount available out there?

Maybe the market is like the US where people pay (well) over rrp. (obviously its not!).

Did the level of discount I obtained offend you ?

Ps Martin knows me and could verify that i'm not a bs artist!

my reply wasn't aimed at you but rather the op, so no need to get on defensive

the amount of variables in this thread....state, time of the year, dealer stock levels, current economy, etc makes any "oh you got ripped, i paid x at this dealer" argument invalid

Oh, ok. But the OP's Q is still valid. As are your variables.

So the answer is - yes discounts are certainly available on these cars. My vehicle and another (white) 2010 (maybe still on carsales.com) at high $150k drive away suggests maximum discount levels obtainable.

But yes, discount up to individual dealer on the day.

Just makes me laugh that US guys are paying up to $10k over list.

10K over when RRP is 80K. I cry at that.

I think I might pick up a 2012 in late 2013! 38k discount, that's awesome. Can you tell us what you actually paid Wardski?

$159k on the road. The Oct 10 build (considered a 2011 release) GT-R had been on the show room floor @ Magic Nissan for 8 months, and only 43kms on the clock. Arrived to my door on the 2nd Dec and absolutely immaculate condition.

Considering the RRP is $168k before onroads and LCT, I was laughing. Would have liked the extra power and daytime LED's that the MY11, 2012 model has, but beggers can't be choosers! :)

That's a great buy! Congrats! Thanks for letting us know what you paid, it's a great yard stick to follow. I assume you're getting 3 years warranty from date of delivery? Going on what you paid the prices being asked for used 2009 ADM's on carsales with less then a year's warranty are just way too high! It also shows how much Nissan Australia are marking up these cars at new! A bloody disgrace! It will interesting to see what you will be able to pick up a MY 2011 mid way through next year.

Full 3 year Australia wide warranty, and Magic have a sister dealership in Brisbane which I'll be using for servicing. The 2009's are well overpriced, but then there are people out there with HUGE loans on them. I'm sure with all the upgrades on the MY12's (plus warranteed launch control) the MY11s will go for a steal.

Re-read what I said

"Considering the RRP is $168k before onroads and LCT"

Your statement is incorrect.

You should have written - Considering the RRP is $168k after LCT and before onroads.

LCT is included in the rrp of $168k, onroads are not.
