Rb25 Into A Bmw Coupe

Hey everyone I'm going as it's stated and putting a rb25 (forged) into a e36 BMW coupe. I can't find any info on who has done it well not much anyway. Someone on here must know a few things about it and any help guidance would be great. Iv already purchased the coupe as a rolling shell so there is no turning back now.

seen a few done before on youtube?, its the same as any motor swap, mounts, exhaust, plumbing, wire.

The only thing im conserned about it engine height like the sump hitting. As the BMW motor is a slanted 4 banger

Will try and find out whether they used the front or rear sump engine

So you've got a 318i or 318iS? Or 320i maybe?

E36 did have a 6 piston engine in there, so my first step would be to google image search the 6cyl models and see if you can get any undercar pics to start off with

Also Autosport did one of these last year, 2JZGTE with a single turbo - it was a bit too "pimp" on massive chromes etc but on M3 rims it would be a bit of fun.

It's a 318is fully optioned body the 323 and up had the 6 I had one before but the engine is a let down and I love rb motors so win win

Pretty sure all BMs used a slanted motor, but its definitely doable.

check that out, Soarer JZ's are rear sump

RB's are front sump, maybe issues there

I'm thinking this conversion may cause hair loss haha. If worst comes to worst I'll modify the sump to suite may have to notch the sump then run 2 pick ups

RB's are front sump, maybe issues there

200ZR's have a rear sumped RB if you need to find one
