Hey Guys,

Might be getting a set of Work XT7's, but before i go any further, i want to know how will they sit on my car?

There are many threads, and sorry if i have repeated, but i just can't find any info that I am specifically after.

When it comes to engines I can really relate, but when it comes to offsets, Im a bit sketchy.

Currently, I drive an R34 25GT, so its a non-turbo (unfortunetly due to p's).

The car has stock suspension, the current offset of the wheels are +30 (18x9.5 - 6 spoke 350z factory wheels).

The Work XT7's have an offset of +12 (18x9.5).

Need your help guys, will they fit? If they need modifications, what is needed?

All help is appreciated :).

Thanks :).

EDIT: I screwed up

basically, go outside to your current rims, get a ruler and measure 18mm, imagine your current rims are sitting that much extra outside the guard basically. I dont know how +30's sit on a 34 so you will have to see if that helps with what will need modifying, or if it is possible

I think OP screwed up with initial measurements.

Your 350z rims are 18x8 +30 right? (Not 9.5 wide). The wheels you want to put on are 18X9.5 +12

Inner clearence will be 1mm LESS

Outter position extend 37mm MORE

I have nil idea about R34 fitments, but those wheels sound more of a GTR fitment, not a GT-t.

89 Cal, its not your fault, OP gave wrong info....thumbsup.gif

Sorry guys about the wrong info, but yeah i ended up not going with the rims thanks to you guys :).

thanks heaps, if i didnt post this up, i would of screwed up big time. thanks again for your input :).

    • Gents, it will be getting the MX5 Mania kit and the 2.5 will be staying where it is My query was about the 0.64 or the 0.86, whilst the 0.64 might spool a bit faster, would the 0.86 be better IRT EGT and mechanical sympathy, with only a small difference in spool And as I assume I won't need alot of boost to get to 200kw, probably around 10 psi, and with max rpm at 6500, would high EGT even really be a issue with a 0.64 I'm heading into MX5 Mania at the end of Jan to discuss the install, so any info is welcome prior to that Basically have a chat and book a time so they can throw on the turbo kit, and fit a oil cooler with a thermostat, drive in drive out of course  In other news: just finished cleaning the car inside and out, it's now all ready to get covered in bugs and dirt driving to Goulburn tomorrow to lunch,  and go for a stroll along woolondilly River with the daughter and her boy, and of course, visit my grandcats and my new grandpuppy
    • Sounds like it has an actual problem with mode select doors, or something.
    • Hope your all having a mean Xmas! If anyone happens to know any trick to using the insanely complex climate control system, I cannot get it to not be on dual zone no matter how many times I deselect it (will say it's not but both vents blow different temps). Also one side is always hot, one always cold 🤷
