R32 Gtr - Brake Lights Not Working

So, got advised by a friendly motorist that my brake lights weren't working. Got home and checked and surprise surprise, they're not working.

Checked the "stop light" fuse under the dash and it's ok, bulbs are ok so I'm out of ideas. Any suggestions on things I can check would be most welcomed.

bridge the switch out, see if thats your problem

Bridged the wires and lights came on, wired back to switch and they're working now so dodgy switch.

if the brake switch is buggered, swap it with the clutch one.

Excellent call....I have absolutely no idea why they have a clutch switch....there are no wired to them, and I can't see where it would be needed even if there was.

Usually need for cruise control. But it may have been an early version of what ended up in the 350Z, in that you have to push the clutch pedal to start the engine.

they never came with cc tho, and i could start mine in any condidtion. random cars lol.

wierd eh? even HICAS or ATTESSA (my best guess for a clutch switch) has never been plugged in any car I've seen.
