Wtf Beacon Unit

Hey guys,

anyone come across a beacon unit in their cars? 11/2003 m35 stagea Rs-4

doing tuner finally and confused as about this beacon unit? any seen before?

can i just disconnect from the tuner????

would love to but its already back together....

ps easier to solder straight to the board instead of the connector to female plug.

works well too mate... searching for digital radio atm.

Ive only seen 1 beacon in all my conversions

Japan have becons at intersections and some corners so that if you are going into a corner to fast the beacon will take over and slow your car down. Also at intersections if there are a few cars still needing to go through before going to orange the beacons will comunicate with the lights and stay green longer.

It should be taken out from compliance.

thought it was something to do with a emergency type situation...

if it stays in there will it cause any problems in aus? located in melbourne.

my hid's got left in at compliance also so half completed compliance by the look of things.
