Cam Sensor

Hi everyone,

Im a long term reader but this is my first post.

My camshaft sensor on the drivers side is faulty and I need tio replace it. Does anyone know where I could pick one up?? Any good sites to get it from or does anyone have one they can depart with. Close to Perth would be preferable but any around would be great.

I have a spare, other than that either from the US would be cheapest, or speak to your local Nissan dealer.

Are you looking to sell your spare one or hang on to it just in case? Is it definitley the drivers side one because as I think the passenger side and drivers side sensors differ in shape. If not Ill have to look into getting one in from the US.

all 3 sensors are the same, just the plug from the drivers side one comes out at an angle, and possibly the screw location.

ok ignore what i said, apparnetly the crank angle sensor has a different plug

Yes, and the two cam angle sensors are different too due to the angle of the plug.

They are all different part numbers in FAST.

Part arrived in the mail today. Its in excellent condition. I will organise getting it in over the next coupleof days.

No problem, give me a call if you need help fitting, its not hard at all, although the plug is a pain to get off as I remember.
