Got a Brand New Autotechnica Mspec Aluminium Rad For $149 with free shipping from Ebay.

(Old Rad was leaking up top.)

Guys at the place where I got it installed, (Natrad) reckoned it was the best money I could spend on my car.

They were very impressed. Quality is great. Their replacement would've cost at least $600 and I think NISSANs was even more $$$.

Replaced thermo and hoses at the same time along with the appropriate red coolant. Checked for stray current, all good.

Done 10,000 kms with no issues.

Ebay aftermarkets. FTW.

have had an asi 52mm in my car for 3 or so years, started to leak early this year, but was arilidited up and been fine since. prior to that could not fault, will buy another one without hesitation

hows this my mate ordered one from asi, complained about the quality and they sent him out another one and let him keep the original !!!

Fellas all these ebay radiators, are they all drop in and direct replacements ? Like sometimes with parts they say its for such a car but you have to modify it to fit...

if its a direct fit ill be buying one soon :)

Thanks fellas, and wud it be wise to get a 52mm over a 40mm or are they all the same shit? been told you gotta cut shit with a 52mm for a R32 GTR ? true or nah or what will i need to cut?

thanks !

I ended up fitting a 52mm ISC radiator to mine - direct drop in - and they're SAU affiliated for discounts.

Ordered in the morning, arrived that afternoon.

Temperatures on my R34 have now stablised on really hot (45C) days when stuck in traffic, and pretty much don't get above 90C even when pushing it through the hills. I couldn't ask for more.

hi guys

you say bolts straight into R33 .. do you loose the fan? or is there room? if not do they run ok with out?

i have a 42mm and theres heaps of room for the clutch fan and the original shroud to bolt on.

52mm one in mine as pictured, same as the 1st link in the OP.

Fits perfect with the stock shroud. Just need to find some bolts for the shroud as the stock ones are selt tapper type screws. (Hint, H22a Prelude cam cover bolts fit perfectly and suit it well :P )

Only mod you need to do is trim a 10mm snip into the bottom of the shroud so it clears a bolt on the AC (or power steering) cant remember. Once that 10mm is trimmed out, it drops straight in.
