But to re-iterate that thread, given the Neo has RB26 rods and N1 oil pump, solid lifters, plus longer inlet manifold runners (for better midrange torque) and VTC, it makes it better in many ways than the RB26 and the missing 100cc hardly matters.

26 still sounds better though.

Yes the Neo does have a lot going for it, but still I think I would choose the RB26 due to the ITB's. It does sound better too.

After market parts support is better for the RB26 too when compared to the Neo version of the RB25.
