Looking to see if anybody has tried or done a plamaman manifold will fit under the bonnet of a R33??

If so, did you lower the engine or anything to make it fit?

..or post up other manifolds that you have fitted that work!

plamama? im assuming you mean plazmaman. if you check out peoples builds or even type rb30det into google you will find plenty or r33's running plazaman intake manifolds.

you don't have to worry at all about the intake manifold not clearing, its the exhaust manifold/turbo that can/will hit the bonnet (depending on high mount and turbo size)

Are you sure about that, usually the stock manifold/throttle body has dramas iff the engine mounts aren't lowered, and im pretty sure the throttle body fouls on the bonnet in a plazmaman, but the only r33 rb30 i have done had a greddy.

I currently have a plazmaman on my 25/30 in my R33.

I made 30mm spacers and a longer set of brackets to drop the k frame and had to relieve the steering shaft.

from memory it only needed about a 22mm drop,

adding spacers puts extra strain on your rack end/tie rod ends if you intend to lower the vehicle

much easier sticking with a greddy copy though the plazmaman is better IMO

The Plazmaman manifold is clearly a great choice for this kind of engine combo.

Lowering the engine a few mm is not a big bother, but I'm not interested in re-engineering the front half the of the car to make the manifold fit.

Cheers for your input guys. I'm sure others have asked the question, or at least wondered..
