Rb25Det Near Stalling Rpm Issue

Hye guy's,

Quick problem ive recently ran into on my r33 when given my car a quick rev the revs will go up as usual but nearly drop so far as to stall?

Also at quick take offs from a stop sometimes feels like its going to stall ..(Hasnt yet)

Car is auto basically stock besides Fmic,exhaust, I do know the coil packs are original and looking worse to wear could this possibly be the issue? Maby AFM?

Yep stock bov, Timing belt and harmonic balancer were replaced recently though by "professionals"

Cleaned TB and idle control valve? Hint, carbie cleaner is not just for carbies.

My r33 did this when the stock bov was blocked up so it fluttered....pull your bov off and see if there is something in there to stop it from doing its job (mine had a piece of coke can cut as the shape of the flange)

yep had the same issue on mine, check the afm as a first step. i changed mine out as i had a spare and it fixed the problem
