If you get a pod, try make a way to make a cold air intake to have colder air in the box that would be the only way to benifit.

If your just gna run it without the box then your just going to suck hot air so you may aswell stick with the stock box..

Have you considered a higher flowing panel filter??

I use to have a stock air box in my old prelude and i chucked a k&N panel filter in there and the sound was tons louder and at the end of the day, less rooting around , legal and louder :) win win win

The only reason I would go to a pod is because the cooler piping is getting in the way then you need a custom box to cover the pod from heat soak. Otherwise next to no advantage you will hear induction noise with a panel filter.

For performance get a good panel filter and CAI, for hecktic awesome defects get a pod, if you get a pod and box/cover ensure you still use a CAI or you will lose any benefits because air to the intake will take the path of least resistance which will he hot air from the engine getting in around the cover.

Only reason I have a pod/cover/CAI is due to intake mods that make nothing else fit.

I know People say that, but im telling you straight out comparing my old VTIR Prelude from a stock panel to a K&N it was a noticeable difference in a nice way.

POD's are pretty pointless i mean whats the point of the hassel by cops on your p plates for pretty much no gains
