hey guys im probably being paranoid however i started my rb25 for the first time in about 3 weeks let it idle til it warmed up (idled fine and reved fine) when i turned it off i heard a slight rattle wasnt really loud and not sure if it was a knocking sound. it could have been something just rattling im not sure. like i said im probably just being paranoid.

if it was a engine knock it would be making the noise the whole time right?

could be exhaust manifold studs as i just a a cat fitted so it was moved around a bit

im going to do a oil change today anyway what could the oil have to do with it tho as the oil has only done 2000kms but i dont like it so im changing it

i let it idle for about 15 mins gave it a couple of revs reved fine then i shut it down sounded like it came from under thebonnet but it didnt sound like a engine knock i dont think sounded like something knocking against something. not sure im just being paranoid i think. im going to change oil today and see how it goes then

ok just started it up and got the mrs to turn it off with my head under bonnet its a slight rattle coming from exhaust side so im assuming its either a stud or my front/dump pipe rattleing against something i will check it out closer as i need to do some work to the exhaust as when i fitted cat converter it shortened exhaust and it touches panhard rod in the rear unless it that rattling and the sound traveling up the exhaust
