bra0063
hi guys ive just got a quick question i have an NA r34 coupe ive read a couple of threads saying that GT-X has turbo breaks and 17" wheels but im not sure if they came in coupe? my coupe had the 17" wheels untill u put lenso d1's on and it also has turbo brakes but doesnt have the GT-V interior so its not a GT-V its not 4 wheel drive either so not a GT-4 didnt come with factory 15" wheels and shitty na brakes so not a GT? can some one help? Cheers. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/386770-confused/ Share on other sites

starwarz
Interior is not 100% the same, for instance the material on the seats are different fabric, the odometer/ (Speed, fuel and oil pressure gauges) are white and have orange lighting.. The font bumper should tell you whether its a GTV not a GTX because a GTX i think is the 2.0 liter R34. The 25GT is the 2.5 liter R34 without the Turbo goods. I know this because i own a 25GT and my friend has a GTV and i have been around that car for a few years now. Rather incorrect. - You are refering to the differences between the R34 Series 1 and Series 2. - GTX is a trim level spec on the GT25 and GTt, ie. premium sound, rear privacy glass etc. - GTv is mechanical spec difference, it is a GT25 + upgraded brakes, LSD and HICAS (all from the GTt) - 2.0L is plainly known as a GT. - 2.5L is known as a GT25, GTX, GT4 (AWD model), GTv (GT25 + mechanical upgrades) - 2.5L turbo is known as GTt and GTt-X Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/386770-confused/#findComment-6169730 Share on other sites

Miguelone
Isn't GT-t a 2.0L turbo? 25GT-t is the 2.5L turbo GTS25T is an R33 turbo 2.5L. R33 and R34 model variants didn't come in an RB20DET configuration, only RB20E and RB20DE respectively, both of which were marketed as basically a big Kei car. mad082
no, that is for the r33. the r34 has the 25 at the front, so it's a 25GT or 25GT-t Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/386770-confused/#findComment-6182709 Share on other sites

I know one way to find out but i just got it lol CheerZ MAT Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/386770-confused/#findComment-6250193 Share on other sites
Shotgun!
could be mistaken Mat but i think all the 34 non turbo's came with 25gt on the back, so if yours is a normal 25gt then no it doesnt have the upgrades of a gtv, and no it doesn't have an lsd, one way to confirm althought not 100% accurate if some1 has changed them for whatever reason is to check if you have 4 piston fronts and 2 piston rears (found on gt-v's). and for the badges on the guards (red/blue), those can easily be swapped. as for the gt-4, once again im not sure but i think they only came in 4-door? can some1 confirm???
